I’m a big fan of tag-questions, and Californian English doesn’t have a satisfying way of forming them. I use “no?” or “innit?” sometimes, but “ne?” usually feels more natural for some reason.

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.

Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.

This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.

Aaron Diaz is amazing and I love him almost as much as I love Zelda. <3

For real, I hope Nintendo has enough sense to eventually make a game like this. Zelda would make an awesome protagonist.

And honestly, if we’re gonna see from two Triforces’ perspectives, might as well see from the third, ne? I’m pretty fucking down for a Ganon game. I have no idea how that would work though.

But I do use Omegle pretty frequently for some reason. Mostly questions, though. Sometimes text. Sometimes I’ll use video chat while I’m cooking or eating, but the times I’ve tried to have conversations there, it feels awkward unless there are other humans doing it with me. Generally ones who are good at interacting with humans.
